One Water Filter
People throughout this area drink dirty water out of desperation resulting in disease and death. Work with local believers and small house churches to provide water filters to their neighborhoods and villages. Provide clean water and Living Water to those who have never heard.Become An Advocate
Have you ever been really thirsty? Imagine living in a tropical, scorched, third-world country with no rain and no clean drinking water. People throughout this area of Southeast Asia fall victim to death and disease from drinking dirty water out of desperation. This yet unreached people group is also lost and dying daily without exposure to the Gospel. “Water as Witness” is a program that provides water filters for those without access to clean drinking water and an opportunity to share Christ’s salvation message to those who have never heard.
Local believers and small house churches are able to establish relationships throughout their surrounding neighborhoods and villages by donating the much-needed water filters. This also grants them an opening to share the word of God to the people of that area. You can help them share the gift of water and the gift of life by purchasing water filters for distribution. The water filters are made from locally-sourced products and with good care will last indefinitely.
The country has a population of 55 million. However, found within this Southeast Asian country are over 135 different ethnic groups and almost as many languages. This diversity creates a beautiful though sometimes complicated mix of cultures.
Myanmar is 1,100 miles from the equator in Southeast Asia. Nestled between Thailand, India, Bangladesh, Laos, and China, it is roughly the size of Texas in square mileage. A home to delta marshlands, several mountain ranges, and many beautiful lakes Myanmar contains much natural beauty. The country is divided into seven states and seven divisions. The states are representative of the largest minority ethnic groups and are found along the outside of the country. The middle of the country holds the majority Bamar people and the divisions. Yangon, the country’s former capital, is the largest city with a population of roughly six million. The current national capital is Nay Pi Taw.
