Project Details

  • Project Description:

Can you imagine being afraid to go to the toilet? Have you ever worried about encountering snakes on the way to your secluded spot? Have you feared being attacked in a field as you look for a private place to defecate? Many people around the world feel this fear daily because they have no access to an outhouse.

Just $500 will provide a private, sanitary toilet for a family of five to fifteen people. Most villagers in rural Cambodia are rice farmers and extremely poor. Local Christians genuinely desire to serve these rural communities, and building outhouses is a great way to help families and meet an immediate need. A local Christian engineer has designed an affordable, quality toilet. Every week, villagers who are interested gather to hear the Good News, get information about the construction of the toilets and pay for part of their outhouse. The money is used to provide toilets for the poorest of the community who cannot afford to pay.

Give today remove daily fear from the lives of villagers and offer eternal security and peace through the message of the gospel.
